Data Science Society wants to introduce you RANLP (Recent Advances in Natural Language Processing) which has been established over the years as one of the most influential and competitive NLP conferences. The event is held biennially in Bulgaria since 1995 and gathers participants from more than 40 countries. Its 11th edition in Varna (4-6 September 2017) will take the form of addresses from invited keynote speakers plus presentations of peer-reviewed individual papers (already announced at http://lml.bas.bg/ranlp2017 ).
RANLP-2017 includes two days of tutorials (2-3 September 2017) given by renowned lecturers in hot NLP topics (http://lml.bas.bg/ranlp2017/tutorials.php ). This training is particularly convenient because the lectures summarise also introductory knowledge needed to understand the content. Deep learning approaches to particular application areas will be presented. Five post-conference thematic workshops (7-8 September 2017) might be of interest too.
RANLP is organised by the Research Group in Computational Linguistics, University of Wolverhampton, UK and the Department of Linguistic Modelling and Knowledge Processing, Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
