This time Data Science Society meets IEEE Young Professionals Bulgaria to co-host a free seminar by Gamax Laboratory Solutions, the official representative of Matlab in Bulgaria.
Topic: Advanced Programming Techniques using MATLAB
Speaker: Árpád Forberger – Árpád received his Master degree in Applied Mechanics from Budapest University of Technology, where he graduated in the field of applied mechanics. He worked for three years at Knorr-Bremse with a scholarship fluid damper mechanics, CFD with heat transfer. Before becoming an Application Engineer at Gamax Laboratory Solution Ltd., he started PhD at Budapest University of Technology in mechanics of automotive parts. His main application areas are structural mechanics and heat transfer.
Time: Monday, June 08, 18:30
Place: Technical University Sofia, Hall 2227
In this session you will gain an understanding of how different MATLAB data types are stored in memory and how you can program in MATLAB to use memory efficiently. In recent versions, MATLAB introduced several new programming concepts, including new function types. We will illustrate and explore the usage and benefits of the various function types under different conditions. You will learn how using the right function type can lead to more robust and maintainable code. Demonstrations will show you how to apply these techniques to problems that arise in typical applications. It also covers the basics of building GUI with GUIDE.
