Dr. Muhammad Reza Bin Z’aba is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer System and Technology, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of Malaya. 

Dr. Muhammad Reza Bin Z’aba was previously a Staff Researcher at MIMOS Berhad, from Jan 2010 until Feb 2018.  Dr. Muhammad Reza Bin Z’aba received his Bachelor of Science (Computer) in 2004 from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and PhD from Queensland University of Technology, Australia in 2010, specializing in the area of cryptography. Dr. Muhammad Reza Bin Z’aba main research interests are in the area of symmetric cryptography (block ciphers and hash functions).  He is also currently investigating blockchain-related technologies including digital currencies and other areas of information security.
